Based in Wayzata, Black Dog Homes is a multi-generational, award winning remodeler and custom home builder. Our founder, Dan Vanderheyden, initially started the company in 2006 under the name “Black Dog Remodeling”, and we still have deep roots in the renovations space. Today our project mix has a strong focus on major renovations including additions, whole home remodel, main level, and lower level renovations. Additionally, our team is fully equipped to take on custom builds in the Lake Minnetonka area.
